CCC Members Regulations

 

All Members undertake and accept all the provisions enclosed in the “CCC Members Regulations” herein. The CCC Members Regulations should be read carefully by all Members who must accept and agree to abide by these CCC Members Regulations.

The CCC Members Regulations are affixed at the entrance of the CCC’s Office.

From time to time the Board of Directors may change the CCC Rules and Regulations.  However, the management must inform Members two months in advance for any change of CCC Rules and Regulations for them to become effective.

1.             General

The Cambodian Country Club is a private Club, only open to Membership Card Holders and their guests that pay the appropriate guest visitor fee.

Under exceptional conditions non-members may also gain access to the Club. In case of:

-        special events  (private events) organised in the first floor of the Club House, or

-        supply of services or equipments by provider’s employees

-        invitation by a member

-        open house day

1.1    Membership

Membership Card Holders are called ‘Members’ of the Club.

Membership Card, with personal photo, is given once both Membership fee (point 2.1 herein) is duly paid and the Registration form is signed.

1.1.1  Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 years old

1.1.2. From the age of 10 to 18, children may hold a Junior Membership Card. All Junior Membership Registration Forms must have the signed approval of the CCC Director.

1.1.3. Children under 10 years of age may NOT hold an individual Membership card, but shall be permitted to enter the CCC, with their parent(s) or legal guardian, if one or both parents or legal guardian are Members of the Club. In that case, parent(s) or legal guardian shall hold a Membership card bearing the name of the child or children under 10 years of age..

Children under 10 years of age may not enter the CCC without the parent or legal guardian Member.

Children under 3 years of age shall be registered on their parents’ or legal guardian’s Membership card, and permitted to enter the CCC free of charge.

Parents or legal guardian, as the case may be, unconditionally accept the responsibility for all of actions and behaviour of their child or children, even if they leave their child/children alone or unattended within the CCC’s Compound.

In any case whatsoever, the CCC is hereby discharged from any responsibility toward any child under 18 years old within the CCC Compound unattended by its parents or legal guardian.

1.2    Access to the CCC

1.2.1  Members’ Access

Members have permanent access to the Club and its facilities, during opening hours, for the period of validity as indicated on the Membership Card. 

Members must show their valid membership card to enter the CCC main gate and shall produce their membership card to the management upon request at any time during their visit to the Club.

Each Membership Card is allowed to be used solely by the authorised holder whose picture is on the card.

1.2.2  Guests’ Access

Members with 1 year membership have the privilege to invite guests (who are non-members) to the Club, with payment of a daily fee, at any time except during special events.

Member is responsible for his/ her guest, and for any actions of his/her guest while in the Club. Guests are required to register at the Front Desk and to pay a guest entrance fee before entering the Club. Members must remain with their guests the whole time they are within the CCC Compound.

The Management reserves the right to limit or refuse entrance of guests to the Club.

1.2.3  Members’ employees Access.

a.       Bodyguard and Drivers.

If a member wishes to bring his/her bodyguard or driver into the club, a daily entrance fee will be charged.  No guns or weapons are allowed into the Club, they must be kept outside the Club.

There is a waiting room available, in the car park area, for members and guests employees.

b.       Nanny

Member shall pay a special registration fee for their nanny starting at the same day as his/her own membership, and obtain a member card bearing his/her nanny’s name

Member is responsible for his/ her employees, and any actions of the employee(s) while they are in the Club. Member's Employees are required to register at the Front Desk and to pay the adequate entrance fee before entering the Club. Employees shall remain with the Member or the Junior/Associate Member for the whole time they are within the CCC Compound.

Management reserves the right to limit or refuse entrance of member's employees to the Club.

Nannies and Members’ Employees are not allowed to use the CCC sports facilities and may not access the Club House Terrace.

1.3         Payment facilities

Using his/her Membership Card, Member shall pay his/her bill with a pre-charged card account. Nevertheless during a transitional period, Members shall be allowed to pay in cash for services, food, and beverage.

Members are required to pay all their bills and expenses in the Club House by producing their membership card to be scanned through the cashier machine. Membership card must contain enough credit on their account to cover their expenses. No credit is provide by CCC. The pre-charged card account can be refilled at the Administration Office near the main entrance.

1.4    The Club’s core values and Members’ duties.

The core values of the CCC are: respect, tolerance, internationalism, friendship, promotion of a healthy life style, and quality in the work place.

Every Member shall respect these values, and abide by them.

Members share with the Management the responsibility for maintaining, protecting and keeping club property in order and are requested to keep the Club grounds free from litter. Members, their guests and their employees are requested to put rubbish in bins installed within CCC compound

1.5    Special Events

Legal or natural entities (Hosts) may book the Club facilities for ‘Special Events’. In these cases, part of the Club may be reserved for Host’s guests and its employees.

Non members may be allowed to enter the Club during these Special Events.

Host is responsible for his/ her employees and guests, even when Host’s guests are Members, and any actions of his/her employees and guests while in the Club. Host's Employees and guests are required to register at the Front Desk and, if the case may be, pay the Special Events entrance fee before entering the Club. However Special Events entrance fee may be included in the Special Event’s price.

The Management reserves the right to limit or refuse entrance of host's employees or guests to the Club.

1.5    Miscellaneous

Members, their Guests and/or Employees may NOT bring either food or drinks into the CCC compound, with the exception of drinking water, which may be brought into the club.

No animal are allowed in the CCC compound except CCC's animal

Smoking is allowed outside and in the Club House (except in the air-con restaurant) but not in the direct surroundings of the pool. Smoking is absolutely forbidden in the changing rooms and in the Kids Club.  It is also forbidden by the sports facilities, included but not limited to fitness centre, stables area, tennis and badminton courts and table tennis area.

All Members and their Guests/Employees shall be responsible in saving energy and water to help protect the environment. All Members and their Guests and/or Employees shall turn off the lights, water and any electrical device upon leaving any facility, or any other place in the Club, when it is appropriate.

1.6    Opening times

The Club is open every day.. However, the usual opening and closing time are fixed and can be read at the entrance to the Club.

2.              Administration

2.1    Membership Fee

Members are required to pay a membership fee to become a Member or to renew their Membership. Membership fee is non refundable.

Membership fees may change, from time to time, to reflect rising costs. Any such decisions will be taken by the Club’s Board of Directors.

However, a Member who has already registered for a given period is guaranteed that he/she will not pay any increase if the Membership fees change during the period of validity of his/her membership.

Membership fees must be made in one payment and may be paid by cash or cheque made payable to The Cambodian Country Club.

2.2    Sport Activities Fee

Sport Activities are free of additional charge.

However, additional fees shall be paid when using the tennis and badminton courts at night time and also to attend sports lessons. These fees are fixed by the Board of Directors, and must be paid for before using the courts or at the beginning of the lesson.

If a Member wishes to affiliate to a particular sporting body e.g. the Cambodian Tennis Association, the CCC can provide the application form but the CCC Member is responsible for any respective subscription fee required.

Any cancellation of a booking for any club facility or sports activity must be notified to the Club Secretary at least 24 hours in advance.  Failing which the booking is deemed effective and if there was fee it will be charged to the respective Members account.

Lessons shall be booked in advance and paid for in the office on arrival. Every lesson reserved must be fully paid for even if the players arrive late.

2.3                                                   Registration

Every Member or his/ her legal guardian shall, along with the payment of the Membership fee, sign the registration form and read the CCC Rules and Regulations before they start using club facilities.

Registration form for Junior Membership shall also be signed and approved by the Director of the CCC.

2.4    Membership Card Account

Every Member shall deposit some funds to be credited into their respective Membership account and members will pay all their expenses incurred within the Club by debiting their Membership Card Account.

The management shall not grant credit in any case (drinks, food, court bookings, sports lessons or any other purchase). Members are responsible for ensuring that their account always holds enough credit for their purchases made.

3.             Dress Code

Members, their employees and/or guests are required to dress properly, especially in the Club House. Swimming suits are permitted around the pool and on the Club House Terrace.  However, Members are requested to wear a tee-shirt or top when sitting down to eat inside the Club House on the ground floor.  No swimming suits are allowed on the Clubhouse’s first floor or in any of the other Club facilities.

Members and their guests are required to wear appropriate clothing and equipment for their chosen sport.

4.             Behaviour(See individual sports regulation paragraph 7)

4.1    Anyone found not complying with the present CCC Members Regulations or acting discourteously, or having a “bad attitude” may be temporarily or permanently barred from the CCC, without a refund or compensation, upon decision of the CCC’s Board of Directors (see art. 10.2 to 10.4).

4.2    Everyone should respect the quietness of the area. Members, their guests and their employees are required not to shout or run around the swimming pool area.

For security reasons, running or shouting is NOT allowed in the horse stables complex or around the horses and ponies.

5.             Insurance / responsibility

MEMBERS SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE RISKS INHERENT TO ANY OF THE SPORTS THAT THEY CHOOSE TO ENGAGE IN AT THE CLUB. MEMBERS SHOULD BE IN GOOD HEALTH AND HAVE NO MEDICAL PROBLEM PREVENTING THEIR SAFE PARTICIPATION IN THEIR CHOSEN ACTIVITY. (IF IN DOUBT THEY SHOULD CONSULT A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL.)

**MEMBERS ARE ADVISED TO HAVE A PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE POLICY AND CIVIL LIABILITY INSURANCE.

THE CLUB MAY NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL COSTS OF DAMAGE TO THEIR EQUIPMENT(S) AND/OR PERSONAL INJURY OR PHYSICAL HARM.

6.             Children/Playground

Children under 18 year shall remain under the responsibility of their parents or legal guardian, as the case may be, when they are in the compound. The CCC is not responsible for any accident that may occur to a child when he/she is in the Club area, except if a CCC staff is at fault during his/her duty when looking after the ‘Kids Club’.

7.             Individual Sports Regulations

7.1    General

No drinks, whether in a glass or in bottle, and no food maybe taken into/onto the individual sports facilities..

Members and their guests are required to wear proper sport/safety equipments, according to the sporting activity undertaken.

Sports shoes are compulsory on the sports facilities.

Members are required to be responsible, and should immediately inform the Management as soon as they notice that something is wrong with some sport facilities (no proper equipment, broken material, leaks etc…)

Members shall abide by these rules and regulations in order to keep the sports facilities safe, enjoyable and pleasant for all Members.

Members, their guests and employees shall be responsible in looking after their belongings. CCC may not be held responsible for any loss or damage.

Members and their guests shall be held responsible for any loss or damage of the equipment belonging to the CCC they use and shall pay for the aforesaid loss or damage.

7.2    Pool

No food may be taken around the pool area.

The pool may be divided in two areas: one for swimming lessons only, where diving is absolutely forbidden; and one where diving is allowed.

Placing a towel or other belongings on a deckchair or sunlounger unattended for too long a period is not allowed, (while leaving the immediate surroundings of the pool or whilst participating to another activity or for any other reason) and CCC staff may remove your belongings if another Member or guest requests the use of the said sunlounger or chair.

For hygiene reasons, every Member and their guests must take a shower before entering the pool and ensure that all lotions and oils are removed from their bodies.

Shoes may not be worn when walking on the tiled edge of the pool.

Members and their guests shall wear proper swimwear, which excludes topless.

For swimming, only proper swimsuits are allowed.

Running, ball-playing and any other activity that may be unsafe or that may interfere with the enjoyment of the pool by other Members are not allowed. Parents are asked to control their children’s behaviour.  Diving must be undertaken with care and due diligence to the safety of diver and other swimmers.

7.3    Horse Stables

Members, their guests and/or employees shall not touch the horses in the stables. They are not allowed to feed the horses or to enter the individual boxes without the permission of a CCC instructor.

Every lesson must be given by a CCC instructor approved by the Director of the CCC.

Children must NOT be left unattended near or in the stables. Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children when they are not attending a riding lesson.

Wearing a helmet, long pants, and riding boots is compulsory for all riders.

7.4    Tennis Court

Adult supervision is required for children under 18 years old.

Tennis courts close at dusk or when court lights are turned off.

No bicycles, roller blades, roller skates or other sports equipment that may damage the tennis court surface are allowed into or onto the tennis courts.

Wearing tennis shoes (non marking shoes) is compulsory for Members before they enter the Court.

A Member may book the court for one hour, for no more than four players including himself / herself.

Members may play whenever they like if the court is free, for as long as they want to play and/or until the time when another Member has booked the court.

Players may only reserve a court for one hour during the busiest time slots (every week day from 16.00 to 21.00, all day Saturday and Sunday and Public Holidays). Outside busy hours, players may book a court for two consecutive hours.

After 6 p.m., an additional fee shall be charged for using the lights for the courts, which has to be paid for, before starting to use the lighting.

Members shall not leave any personal belongings in the court upon leaving.

Every tennis player should strictly observe the reservation schedule and arrive and leave the court on time. No over-runs to the scheduled times may be accepted.

7.5    Climbing Wall

Members, their guests and/or employees who use the Climbing Wall must be aware of the special risk of falls when they are climbing on the wall.

Parents must be especially careful supervising their children when they are on or near the climbing wall.

The wall is for leisure only and should be used with a high degree of care. Members, their guests and their employees shall not distract a Member who is climbing on the wall.

Members and their guests who use the Climbing Wall shall wear proper sports shoes and protective clothes and climbing equipment.

7.6    Badminton

No bicycles, roller blades, roller skates or other sports equipment that may damage the court surface are allowed on the Badminton Court surface.

Indoor shoes (non marking shoes) are compulsory for Members, their guests and their employees to go on the Badminton Courts.

Members may play whenever they like if the court is free, for as long as they want to play and/or until the time when court is booked. However Members may only book the court for 1 hour during busiest hours, (see below).

Every Member may book the court for no more than four players.

Players may only reserve a court for one hour during the busiest time slots (busy hours - Monday to Friday from 16.00 – 21.00, all day Saturday and Sunday and Public Holidays). Outside busy hours, players may book the court for two consecutives hours.

After 6 p.m., an additional fee shall be charged for using the courts lights, which has to be paid for before starting using them..

Members shall not leave any personal belongings in the court.

Every player should strictly respect the reservation schedule, arrive and leave the court on time. No over-runs to the scheduled time may be accepted.

7.7    Beach Volley / Sand area

The field is free to use for beach volley or beach soccer.

The field works on a “first come, first served” basis.

Members are required to be reasonable in their playing times, and in case a lot of Members are waiting to play, players are only allowed to play three sets then leave the field for the next waiting members.

The ball may be borrowed from the Sports Manager. The borrowing Member is responsible for the ball and he has to pay for it, should it get lost or damaged.

 7.8   Fitness Centre

Proper indoor shoes are compulsory to enter the Fitness Centre.

Children under 16 ARE NOT ALLOWED to use the Fitness Centre without their parents’ or legal guardian’s supervision.

Members and their guests shall take care of the machines they use.

7.9    Other Facilities

Members shall pay proper attention to security when they play petanque, especially with the balls.

Members pay proper attention to security when using tennis tables, football tables or billiards tables..

8.             Club House Regulations

8.1    Members, their guests and their employees have the right to enter the Club House. However, only Members with 1 year membership their guests, and their employees are allowed access to first floor bar and restaurant and it is forbidden to children under 15 years without their parents.

8.2    Members are required to behave respectfully in the Club House.

8.3    Members under 18 MAY NOT be served alcohol. 

9.             Car Park

9.1    The Car Park is at Members’ disposal for any Members’ vehicle. A 10 km per hour speed limit is in force within the Car Park boundaries.

9.2    Bicycles and motorbikes must be left in the car park. It is strictly forbidden to bring bicycles or motorbikes into the Club.

9.3    Members shall take care to avoid damage to other cars and to avoid fixed objects within the car park. 

9..4    Members and Visitors are advised that while every precaution is taken to avoid such damage, the Club may not be held responsible for any damage caused to their vehicles, nor for any personal items lost from vehicles, or for stolen vehicles..

9.5    There is a waiting room available in the car park area for Members’ staff, employees, bodyguard, driver, nanny etc.

10.          Sanctions

10.1  Anyone causing damage to Club property will be charged for the cost of repair or replacement.

10.2  Every Member must abide by CCC Members Regulations. A Member, his/her guest and his/her employee who does not respect CCC Members Regulations may be temporarily or permanently suspended from the CCC, without a refund or compensation. Any such decision would be taken at a meeting of the CCC’s Board of Directors and their decision may be notified to the Member by a posting on the Club Notice Board.

10.3  Other reasons that may cause a Member to be barred from CCC would be: rude behaviour toward other Members, Staff or sports instructors, or behaviour that could jeopardize other Members’ safety or security, abusing the sports facilities or bothering other Members

10.4  The exclusion of a Member is an extra ordinary measure and this decision can only be made by the Board of Directors of CCC.
